Your iPhone is the mouse.

The computer is across the room and the trackpad is not. AirMouse turns the phone in your hand into one, with the keyboard you are missing, the clipboard you share and a remote for every presentation.

7,99 € once, everything included. Mac, Windows and Linux.

  • One priceNo subscription, nothing to buy inside
  • No accountPairing is one click on the computer
  • Your networkNothing goes to a server on the internet
  • Three systemsmacOS 13+, Windows 10 and 11, Linux
01The idea

From across the room.

One finger moves the cursor, a tap clicks, two fingers scroll. The computer behaves as if its own trackpad had walked over to the sofa.

  • A full trackpad: tap, right-click, scroll, drag
  • Left, middle and right buttons under the pad
  • The cursor travels on its own fast channel

02Every computer

Mac, Windows or Linux.

One small app on the computer, free from this site. It opens its pairing page once and then keeps out of the way: no window, no icon.

  • macOS 13 and later, signed and notarised
  • Windows 10 and 11
  • Linux on X11 or Wayland

03Gestures

Eight gestures. That is the manual.

Three fingers switch desktop or app, pinch zooms, double-tap and hold drags anything. Each gesture does what that machine's own trackpad does with it.

All eight gestures →
04Keyboard

Every key, even the ones a phone does not have.

Ctrl, Alt, the arrows, F1 to F12, Escape, Tab. Tap a modifier and it applies to the next key, then lets go by itself. Type live, or compose and send it whole.

The keyboard →
05Macros

A button for every shortcut.

One tile runs steps in order: a shortcut, some text, an app, a link, a media key, a pause. Group them in profiles that follow whichever app is in front.

  • Mute the microphone, lock the computer, start a meeting
  • The editor highlights each step as it runs
  • Profiles switch with the app in front
Macros and profiles →
06Shared clipboard

Copy on one. Paste on the other.

Send a photo from the phone and it lands on the computer. Copy a link or a screenshot on the computer and it is already on the phone. Made for designers and developers who move media all day.

  • Text and pictures, both ways
  • What a password manager marks as private never crosses
  • No cloud in between: phone to computer, on your network
The clipboard →
07Presenting

Present without a clicker.

A tap on the pad moves to the next slide in Keynote, PowerPoint or Google Slides. The clicker gets forgotten in a bag; the phone is already in your pocket, already paired, and already charged.

  • Next and previous slide from anywhere in the room
  • Arrow keys, Escape and black screen on the keyboard
  • Nothing extra to carry, pair or lose
Presenting with AirMouse →
08Live screen

See the screen you are driving.

Turn it on and the computer's display appears above the pad: the menu you opened, the dialog that wants an answer. Still screens cost nothing, only what changes is sent.

  • Works with a Mac, or Linux on X11
  • Sent as JPEG tiles at the width you choose
  • A monitor, not a control surface: gestures stay on the pad
The live screen →
09Privacy

It works on your network and nowhere else.

No account

Pairing is a token the two devices hold, not a login. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to forget.

No internet

Phone and computer talk directly on your Wi-Fi. Nothing reaches a server on the internet, and the app collects no data.

No surprises

Shell commands from a macro are refused unless the computer is started to allow them. A paired phone cannot run anything it likes.

10Setup

From nothing to controlling it.

  1. Install it on the computer

One file from the download page. On a Mac, drag it into Applications.

  2. Open AirMouse on the phone

The computer appears in the list by itself. Nothing to type.

  3. Click Allow

The computer asks once whether to trust the phone. That is the whole of pairing.

Every picture is the app itself.
